The North Iceland Law Firm and lawyers working there can arrange for lawyers to appear in Akureyri and the surrounding area before the district court, before magistrates and in other situations where a lawyer needs to appear but is unable to attend a hearing in North Iceland. An email can be sent to the email address mot@legalnorth.is with a request for appearance, timing, documents and instructions. A mobile phone number must be included with the lawyer who can provide information if it is necessary to call during the hearing. The law firm confirms by email that it has received a request for appearance. Four lawyers handle the project jointly and the office manager handles administration.
